5th Annual Hoops in the Loops tournament set to tip off on Victoria Street

KAMLOOPS – Downtown Kamloops will be bustling this weekend as the Fifth Annual Hoops in the Loops will tip off this weekend.
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament will transform multiple blocks of Victoria Street into a buzzing atmosphere with athletes, vendors and the community. Both male and female divisions from Grades Four to professional adults will be competing on the court. Other events include the dunk contest and multiple vendors set up along Victoria Street.
The event takes place on Saturday (May 31) and Sunday, starting at 10:00 a.m. The tournament first started pre-COVID and has seen substantial growth throughout the years, hosting more than 100 teams this year.
