
Kamloops United drop pair of League1 BC games to Vancouver
KAMLOOPS — Another tough weekend for Kamloops United Football Club (KUFC) in League1 BC action Saturday (June 7) as both the men’s and women’s teams were held off the scoresheet Saturday (June 7) at Hillside Stadium.
The Kamloops women were beaten 7-0 by the Vancouver Rise for their third loss in a row, and eighth of the season. Vancouver also completed the double over Kamloops, as the Rise beat Kamloops in May.
Kamloops remains in the basement of the League1 BC women’s standings with three points from nine games.
In men’s action, Kamloops was also beaten 2-0 by Vancouver for their fourth loss in a row, and fourth of the season. It gives the teams a season split, as Kamloops beat Vancouver back in May.
